Moon Goddess

asset103-png

Her hips moved like crashing waves on a shore. Her rhythm an endless sensual flow. I felt her beat like an ever evolving starlight. I followed it with my heart, asking it to become a part of me. Wisdom shone on her face, cosmic years of grace. How delicate her glow, a motion of ecstasy burning fire. Through the rise of her breath, streams of rose petals guided me home. She spoke to me in codes my spirit alone knew how to decipher.

Anointing me with nurture, I was reborn.

Defiers of the night, we dreamed of the stars. Our bodies danced in the glory of light. Our eyes shifted in trance of cosmic dance. Our heads tilted to greet the morning rays of the sun. Redeeming our souls with balance. We were whole.

If this poem had a voice, this is what it would sing…
