Medusa Stares

What makes you stick to the past?

Is it an emotion

That clings onto you like an annoying song?

Anything you try

It can’t get out of your head.

All the same tune.

You add a little

Drum beat

To change the rhythm

Give it a kick with a hum,

Swinging it to diverge.

With a daring glance,

Repression will dance back to you.

It will flirt with your eyes,

Turning them color blind.

All you will see is black and white,

Until glands turn to the light.

Medusa’s on the hunt

For those already made of stone.

Through them, will she gain her power.

They cannot escape her fierce stare,

For their deepest fears are beyond repair.

Those brave enough to grab

Strands of memory by the hand,

Rejoice repetitive songs with a jiggle.

Like worms they wiggle out of

Imprisoning cocoons.

The bundle of silk,

Releasing any adjustment to the dark.

The newborns eye her serpent touch,

Rising far above her bewitching magic.

In their wings,

A splash of green.

Their delicate spread,

Like fine designs of origami.

Their sticky coat serving as an armor,

Shining healing spectrums of protection,

With precious hints of emerald.

EGO: Take Off The ‘E’ and Let It GO!

Let Go Of The Ego!

This day and age is full of challenges and obstacles. They are brought to the surface in order to make room for a new beginning which will replace old patterns. The air is tense – chaotic – and we are all feeling the effects of the transition. It is unavoidable, as each and every one of us is being squeezed and squeezed like a water-filled towel.

Many of us want a chance to be in the spotlight, to take center stage. In this battle of egos, we may challenge each other and attempt to show that we are better than the other. As a result, this often leads to disputes and arguments with others who have opposing views to our own.

The greatest challenge is to set ego motives aside and instead, focus on contributing and providing for the greater whole.

How Do I Deal With This Chaos?

The first thing that must be done is to identify and set aside our ego desires. We must each let go of ego wants and desires – the wanting of more control, more spotlight, more gratification – and observe our lives from a higher state.

The key is to step back, detach and take some time to breathe. The truth is, this is not a time for control or controlling, as all is in constant transition and flux. This is a good time to spend some time alone in order to relax and see things from a calmer perspective. As you spend time alone, meditating or just relaxing your mind, you can observe things from a higher state. In this way, you can choose which of the things circulating in your overwhelming world you need to prioritize and spend energy on. This will save you stress and anxiety, as you gain a greater understanding of what you need to bring more attention to, and what is not that significant at this time, and can be delayed for later on, or released entirely.

Listening or Being Heard?

As you spend time in solitude, it is important to pay close attention to the messages and signs that you receive. It is not about who hears you, but how well you listen. Rather than trying to make your voice heard to more and more people, it is first best to focus on listening to your own inner voice. Only with a peaceful mind will you be able to ‘see’ things from the viewpoint of your higher self.

In this way, you may realize that some people or situations are not contributing to your highest good. Therefore, this might mean that you may need to leave certain situations or individuals. There is nothing harmful in letting go; it is all necessary in your own personal evolution. On the other hand, not letting go of things that seem toxic to you will cause you to feel suppressed and caged as a result.

Let Go and Feel Sweet Liberty

When ego is lost, limit is lost. You become infinite.

Not a lot of people are aware of the significance of letting go to what they truly desire. Desires are the most vital part of our existence. We want – we desire – we believe we need. We are driven by our desires and often haunted by our unfulfilled longing.

“I need to be in a good relationship.”

“I want a better job.”

“I need a higher salary.”

When you decide to release the self-perpetuating energy of wanting, that is when you can attract what you truly desire.

Obsessive behavior is not beneficial to fulfilling your desires. Think of a stalker, who is obsessed with a certain individual. The more energy he/she projects, the less he/she will be able to attract the individual they desire. Instead of attracting that desired person, you are more likely to repel him/her and push them away. The feeling of want and need is perpetuated, never satisfied.

Vulnerability to the Heart’s Desire

The main cause of this repelling is due to vulnerability to our wanting and needing energy. Our vulnerabilities are like an open wound, exposed and unable to be healed. The more vulnerable you are, the more bacteria you attract into the wound. As a result, this does not allow our body to naturally heal itself but rather infects and deteriorates the injured parts of your being. Hence, being unconsciously vulnerable to your individual wants and desires acts in the same way as the open wound analogy. In other words, the more emphasis you put on what you want desperately to obtain, the less likely you will be to obtain what you desire.

After all, desperation projects a mentality of lack and scarcity, which sends out signals to the Universe that you cannot achieve your heart’s desires. Once you release the energy of needing and wanting, sometimes that is precisely the moment when you actually gain that something.

The Simple Formula

Relax, step back. Breathe. Meditate and clear your mind.

Cut that ego chord.

Lower the tempo of your desires and wants.

Release vulnerability and obsession.

Embrace love and light.

Receive inner peace and guidance.

We are all in this together ❤

Polarities of Self-Discovery

Fearless fire

Burn desire

Bring alight

All my fright

So I too

Smell sweet perfume

Of crimson.

Smudge me ash

With a clash

May all I hide

Soon collide,

With all I dream.

A song

I blissfully hum

In a tune

Of a new

Me.

When all dark

Is through

And what is true

Seeps out.

Then shall

I know

What “I” am

truly about.

Rippling Touch

Creek_thumb[5]

The gentle rush of water,
Every drop filled with love.
A unison of peace and serenity,
Upon each ripple.

A harmonious symphony,
Each splash revealing a message from above.
To the common ear a simple, mundane sound;
For the majestic flow only unveils itself to believers.

Those blessed with not two eyes but three,
Are rewarded with the heavenly melody.
Angelic laughter can be heard; a tingling, joyous sensation.
Like the pure heart of an innocent child.

The chimes of mystical fairies ring as they giggle and twinkle.
Flashing a rainbow of extravagance, as they waltz with their fated partners.
The power of the embrace,
Transcending realms of space.

The past, present, future all merged in one.
For in the hypnotic flow of waves,
Time is merely an elusive concept.
Ancient, classical tones creep in contemporary tunes.
Altering, shaping them as they flash distant memories.

Everything can be remembered among the falls of water.
Hidden worlds from conscious memory spark to life,
As streams cleanse blurry, blinded eyes.
Enhancing vision with each rippling touch.

By Your Self

Image

Being alone is quite a challenge.
Feeling that you’re on your own in the world,
Desperate to find someone you can hold on to.

You search and you search but that someone is not there.
For that someone you want is something you have created,
An ideal being that you have manifested.

You have selected the character that is compatible with yours;
You have picked specific exoteric characteristics;
You have chosen similar tastes in food and hobbies;
You are determined to find your creation;
Yet it is not there.

Truth is,
Nobody will be exactly as you picture them.
Someone precisely the opposite to what you have in mind,
May in fact be the one for you.

But loneliness makes us desperate.
Desperation stems from insecurity.
We are all afraid of being alone,
For we ourselves are the most frightening self to discover.

We think;
We act in a certain way;
We are given a particular face and body.
Therefore, we fall into the trap of thinking we know ourselves.

Being alone shatters any prior discovery of yourself.
It finds long lost keys to hidden doors,
Unfamiliar pathways, never trodden.
It sheds light on places you, yourself and you alone will be able to explore.
For loneliness is a certain challenge;
With the priceless reward of You.
